Founded more than 75 years ago, the dfv media group is today one of the largest independent business media companies in Europe. With its almost 100 specialised publications, it serves a total of 13 important sectors and thus offers a unique range of publications. The dfv media group employs 820 people, with more than 340 of them in the editorial departments. Together, they form the largest business editorial team in the German-speaking world. The dfv media group is headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany. It is represented at twelve other locations in Germany and abroad through subsidiaries and associated companies. In 2021, the dfv media group generated sales of €119.3 million.
Through dfv media solutions, the advertising marketer with the most diverse product portfolio in the B2B segment, the dfv media group offers cross-industry communication solutions. Streaming and video formats are produced in-house in studio13, which, with its state-of-the-art technology, can also be used by 3rd parties Furthermore, in the B2B segment, the dfv media group offers services such as corporate media, market research, telephony and services for legal departments and in-house counsel. The dfv range is rounded off by around 350 contemporary specialised book titles (around 20 new publications per year).
Quality pays off: No other media company has more titles in the annual ranking of Germany's 150 trade magazines with the highest advertising sales than the dfv media group – the top 5 include Lebensmittel Zeitung in first place, followed by TextilWirtschaft, and HORIZONT in 4th place.
